Final check before go-live

Congratulations you've made it to the final step. You can start receiving order soon. In order to avoid any last minute surprises let's do a final check.

1. Double check the checkout to order flow

The first thing your customers sees is the checkout page. Try placing a few orders on your checkout page to see if the flow looks like how you image it to be. Make sure to check the functioning of limitations if you have enabled them in the Checkout settings. We recommend going through the complete checkout process (from inserting information in the checkout input fields to paying for the other and landing on the order confirmation page).

The second thing we recommend checking is to make sure that all orders that are placed on the checkout end up in the  circuly Operations Backend  in the Orders tab. You can only create subscriptions if there are orders in the Orders tab.

2. Check for errors in the customer login

The customer login is another front facing element of your customer journey. Make sure that there are no error on the customer login page.

Pro tip: When logging on into the customer login your customers have to request a one-time password. The one-time password is sent to the customer via an email. Make sure that you set up the email template called "one-time password" so that your customers can get the email when they request for a password and can ultimately log in into their self service area.

3. Make sure to set up VAT

In the General settings make sure to insert the VAT value before you start taking and processing orders on the checkout page.

4. Connect all cart buttons to the circuly checkout

Make sure that all your "add to cart" buttons on your product pages lead to the checkout page.

5. Set up email templates

Remember to set up the email templates. Email templates that have not been set up will be skipped even if an action triggers them. Additionally after setting up the email templates remember to enable the switch for the email category. Read more about Email Templates and their triggers here.

6. Final step: Go live

When you've double, triple, quadruple checked the above mentioned things, get in touch with our team (send an email to laura@circuly.io) so that we can set your rental business in production mode.

Production mode means that we will delete all test orders so that you have a clean circuly operations backend to begin with. We also need access to your shopsystem and PSP live keys to set you into production mode.
